The Media Center

        In School Year 2004-2005, plans for construction of the AB Comm laboratories, popularly known today as the Media Center, or MC, began. Mr. Eldrick S. Peña, the founding Department Chair, meticulously participated in the planning and designing of the center and its facilities. Mr. Peña made sure that the specifications were followed and even personally designed all the furniture and fixture found in the center.  With the skills and expertise of Engr. Cid Frio and Bro. Dindo Maralit FSC (Mabini Building's architect), the Media Center was finally completed in April 2005 and it became the permanent home of the AB Communication Department since May 2005.  The Center, which is located at the 4th floor of the Mabini Building, serves as the training ground for AB Comm students on the use of various Communication and Broadcast equipment and facilities.  On a personal note, the Media Center serves as the home of every AB Comm student while at De La Salle Lipa.
